The players, the coaching staff headed by Rubén Baraja and club president Layhoon Chan were all in attendance. Prior to the event, Ms. Chan met mayor Joan Ribó and gave a team shirt to the Fallera Mayor Infantil de Valencia, Paula Nieto and the Fallera Mayor, Laura Mengó.
For players like Justin Kluivert, Samu Castillejo, Samu Lino and Edinson Cavani, it was a first time experiencing Fallas.
"It has was very, very loud but I like it," said Kluivert, scorer of the winning goal against Osasuna this past Saturday.
“It is a unique and very beautiful experience” commented Iago Herrerín.
After the event and after waving to the fans from the balcony, the squad returned to the Ciudad Deportiva for training.
